Barbara Findling
Barbara Findling, 89, of Washington, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, in Premier Health Center in Washington.
She was born August 5, 1932, in Burgettstown, a daughter of the late Frank William and Margaret Deporter Hodge.
Mrs. Findling enjoyed playing bingo and bowling in a league with her husband.
She lived her entire life in the Washington area.
She was employed as a cook at various places in the Washington area, most recently at Denny’s from where she retired.
On June 13, 1953, she married Raymond Earl Findling, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Glenn Robert (Ethel) Findling of Latrobe and Raymond Earl Findling Jr. of Washington.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Margaret “Peggy” Steele.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 19, in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 1290 Jefferson Avenue, Washington. Interment in Forest Lawn Gardens will be held in private.
