Louis A. Lombardi
Louis A. Lombardi, 81, of Canonsburg, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 11, 1939, in Strabane, a son of Louis Lombardi and Antoinette Lombardi Senay.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Lombardi owned and operated Lombardi Auto Body Shop in Washington. He was proud of his work, was a self-made success, and created a family business with his son. He was joyful and kind in spirit, generous and forgiving, tenacious in nature, and loved by his community. He never sat around, and enjoyed shooting sporting clays, was a member of the Slovene National Benefit Society, and was a talented musician, playing the bass guitar and singing. He had an infectious laugh, and more than anything, enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, family and friends, and also loved his dog, Cooper. He enjoyed traveling, especially with his family to Anna Marie Island, Fla. He always welcomed everyone to his home.
On September 28, 1996, he married his wife of over 25 years, Rosemary Lombardi, who survives. Also surviving are his son, Louis P. Lombardi of Canonsburg; his daughters, Paula (Jason) Spare of Wilmington, Del., Sharon Horosky of Canonsburg, Christine (David) Martin of South Fayette, Joann (Robert) Curti of Houston; his brother, Anthony L. (Elizabeth) Lombardi of Canonsburg; sisters, Rosemary Wagner of Strabane, and Joyce (Richard) Stevenson of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joana C. Zienkiewicz Lombardi, after 35 years of marriage.

A celebration of Mr. Lombardi’s life will be held in the future, and will be announced when arrangements are complete.
