Two rescued from Bethel Park fire

Two people were hospitalized following a fire this week in Bethel Park.

The Bethel Park Fire Company responded to a home in the 2800 block of Oak Street shortly after 7 a.m. Monday.

Firefighters rescued a man and woman from the roof of the house. They were each transported to a Pittsburgh hospital with unspecified injuries.

Emergency crews knocked down the fire in about an hour.

Also responding to the scene was the Mt. Lebanon Fire Department, Upper St. Clair Fire Department, Library Fire Company, Broughton Fire Company, Bridgeville Fire Department, Bethel Park police and Tri-Community South EMS.
