The July 17 meeting of the Greene County Farmland Preservation board has been canceled and rescheduled for 6 p.m. July 24 in the mezzanine conference room of the Forst Jackson Building, Waynesburg.

The Warrior Trail Association will have its July meeting at the Warrior Trail Headquarters in Fordyce at 6:30 p.m. July 18. Bill Hughes from the Wetzel County Action Group will make a presentation on Marcellus Shale development and its impact on the local community. This will be a covered-dish dinner meeting. The Warrior Trail Association will provide the main course. For more information, call Llew Williams at 703-434-4158. The program is free and open to the public.

The descendants of Willis Land and Melza Ealy Clutter will hold their annual family reunion at Prosperity Park July 28. Lunch will be served at noon. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Tables service, chicken and drinks will be provided. There will be a 50/50 drawing. Donations will be accepted.
