Ellen Louise Smith Leumann
Ellen Louise Smith Leumann passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022, in Washington. She was 93.
She was born on August 25, 1929, in Washington, the daughter of Florence Simpson Smith and Clarence Smith. She attended Wash High and graduated in 1948.
Ellen loved to bake, knit and cross stitch, making lots of items for her family and friends.
She worked at Bell Telephone, The Yum Yum Tree, Karts Clothing and Langs.
She was a member of the Allison Avenue Baptist and First Baptist churches.
Ellen was married to her husband, Hans Leumann, for 72 years, who passed away on May 1, 2022.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Jane Smith, one brother, David Smith, three daughters: Renee, Karen and Heidi, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
