Theodore A. Jones, 91, passed away peacefully Monday, August 5, 2022.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy; and his children, Ken (Sue) Jones, Cathi Jones, Cindy (Matt) Hinnebusch, Kelly (Bruce) Hammerle, Nina (Bob) Berke, Elizabeth (Robin) Wood, and Kim Mahan; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Born in Arizona, Ted lived in California, New York, Pittsburgh; Forest, Va.; and Wilmington, N.C. His early work for Scott Paper Company brought him east, where he retired from McClay & Son, Food Brokers.

He was a Korean War veteran who had many adventures and easily made friends. He lived an active life of skiing, golfing, gardening and woodworking. Our family is blessed by the beautiful things he built and the memories of time spent with him, especially on the ski slopes of Seven Springs and the beaches of Ocean City, Md.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, in Center Presbyterian Church, 255 Center Church Road, McMurray.
