Lloyd E. Pettit, 76, of Panama City Beach, Florida, died on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Vitas Hospice, Panama City, Fla.

He was born on May 10, 1946, in Washington, a son of the late Leroy E. and Jessie Phillips Pettit.

A graduate of Trinity High School, Lloyd also attended CCAC and the University of Pittsburgh.

Lloyd was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1966 until 1969, during which time, he was stationed in Germany for 29 months. His last duty assignment and major command was with Service Battery, 1st Battalion, 81st Field Artillery, U.S. Army Europe.

Mr. Pettit worked for 28 years as a respiratory therapist at both Washington Hospital and Canonsburg Hospital.

He enjoyed skiing and television production, having acted in commercials, television movies and feature films.

Surviving is a niece and two nephews, Cheryl Randall, of Washington, Lee (Debbie) Randall, of Washington and Bruce (Diana) Randall, of Washington; as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Deceased are two sisters, Alice P. Randall and H. Jean Maslik; and a nephew, Richard (Cindy) Randall.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2022, in Washington Cemetery.

Those wishing to attend should meet at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.
