Greene County man killed in crash

A 22-year-old Carmichaels man was killed early Sunday in a Greene Township crash.

State police said Timothy Joseph Morris was driving north about 2:45 a.m. on state Route 2017, South Branch Muddy Creek Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve. His Ford Focus went off the road and struck a tree head-on. He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple injuries by Greene County Deputy Coroner Mary Lewis.

Police said Morris was not wearing a seat belt.
