Martha L. Rush Wilson
Martha L. Rush Wilson, 97, formally of Claysville / East Finley, relocated to heaven Sunday, December 11, 2022.
She was born August 17, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of the late George H. and Edna Montgomery Rush of East Finley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Madge Ealy; daughter, Donna “Jeanne”; and her husband of 53 years, Robert D. Wilson; all who have prepared her place in heaven.
She leaves behind her family, whom she loved very much: a sister, Marie; son, Robert “Eddie” White; daughter, Dale L. Rogers (Guy); four grandchildren, Michael “Ross” Parker, Renee Villines, Stacy McCartney (Michael Ancona), Amanda Parker; along with eight great-grandchildren, Chyann (Evan), Clayton, Aniya, Jammy, Robert, Reid, Emma and Blake, and four great-great-grandchildren, Meyko, Rylee, Zyaire and Jay; along with many nieces and nephews, several of who are great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She had retired many years ago from K-Mart and Ramada Inn.
She loved traveling and was an avid puzzle solver (crossword, word search, sudoku, and the challenge of putting together 1,000 pieces or greater puzzles). She also loved planting and nurturing flowers.
