Karl W. Edler, Jr.
Karl W. “Bill” Edler, Jr., 85, of Canonsburg, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
He was born March 9, 1937, in Curwensville, a son of the late Karl W. and Clara Miller Edler.
Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Fuerth, Germany.
He worked as a ramp serviceman for Trans World Airlines, retiring after 37 years of dedicated service.
Bill was a 30 year member of Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church, where he served as both a deacon and usher. He was also a member of Chartiers Lodge No. 297 F&AM and volunteered with meals on wheels. Bill enjoyed train sets and was an avid bicycle rider.
Surviving is his beloved wife, Kathleen M. Edler; a son, David James Edler and wife, Sherri; and a granddaughter, Emily Jo Edler.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two infant twin sons.
Arrangements entrusted to Beinhauer Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
