Rose M. Apache, 86, of Washington, died Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in her home.
She was born April 11, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Kita Apache.
Rose was a 1954 graduate of Trinity High School, and went on to work for AT&T (Bell) / Verizon, retiring in 1989 after 35 years of service.
She attended Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in her younger years, and in her spare time enjoyed embroidery and scrapbooking.
Surviving are: a son, Gary DeNunzio, of Washington; a brother, Don Apache, of Tennessee; a sister, Irene (Mike) Komito, of N.C.; and two grandchildren, Gavin and Abilene DeNunzio.
Deceased are two sisters, Ann Bumgardner and Pearl Roach.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon, the time of service, on Saturday, February 4, 2023, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington.
