David Scott Boyd, 64, of Washington, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023, after a four month struggle with cancer.

He was born June 8, 1958, to the late Reverend Gene and Florence Boyd and grew up in Conneaut Lake.

He lived in Florida for several years then returned to Pennsylvania, and he last worked for First Transit.

David was a character with some odd quirks but he was funny and was loved by his family.

Surviving are his siblings, Carolyn Holmes of Washington, Cathy Owens of Hermitage, Cynthia (Richard) Leavell of Oregon and Douglas (Judy) Boyd of Virginia. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

At David’s request, there will be no public visitation or service.
