Didn’t think we would be the 17^th seed after finishing the season in 4 place (not a tie like other teams) – play in the section with two of the top seeds, South Fayette and Trinity.  Played a tough nonsection schedule. Battled some injuries throughout the season and lost some close games.

 

Coming off a nice win against 7 seed Mars on Monday. 

Told the girls we needed to prove we belong in the playoffs because the board doesn’t think so. LOL .  They really wanted to prove themselves. 

 

Jordyn Wolfe and Raegan Kadlecik were chosen by other coaches to 1^st team all section in 5A section 4.  Very proud of them, considering how talented our section is. 

 

2 – Jordyn Wolfe  – ACL tear freshman year – averaging 14.3 ppg 

11 – Raegan Kadlecik 12.0 ppg – tore ACL twice – having a nice season – leads team in assists 

10 – Olivia Persinger – leading team in rebounding and steals and deflections (hustle plays)

22 – Sterling McCleaster stepped into Ava’s spot and has done an outstanding job. Averaging about 10 points since starting and really battles

Abby Cleary – Good shooter and rebounder 

Julia Cox – 6^th man – two big 3s against Mars and 2 key rebounds in the last minute 

 

Tiffany Miller and Zoe Woessner come off the bench, along with a few other freshmen.  Sofia Brandy, Macey Rathway and Addison Kraynak.  This group is going to be good.
