Sylvia May Meta, 80, of Peters Township, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023.
She was born on May 19, 1942, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Scharf.
Beloved wife of the late Dr. Louis D. Meta.
Loving mother of Dr. David Meta, and Christopher and his wife, Rachel Meta.
Devoted grandma to Kathryn and Justine Meta.
Cherished sister of Joseph Scharf (Cindy) and Karolina Knoer (James).
Preceded in death by sister, Julie Scharf.
A wonderful wife, sister and mother, she always put the thoughts and needs of others before her own.
