Michael A Burchik Sr., of Florida, went to be with his Lord Monday, March 27, 2023.

He was born August 16, 1950, in Canonsburg.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Marcy DeFillippo Burchik, of 52 years; two sons, CDR Michael A., Jr. Ret. US Navy (Amy) of Virginia, and Frank A. (Brandy) of Florida; seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two sisters and a brother.

Preceding him in death were daughter, Marcy Lynn; mother, Josephine Mele Burchik and father Frank Burchik; and his oldest brother.

Michael retired as a Sergeant First Class (US ARMY) after 21 years of Honorable service.

Among his personal awards were the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal.

Prior to retiring to Florida, Michael was an active member and elder of Claysville Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.

Arrangements are under the direction of AM Seigler Funeral Home, Mulberry, Fla.

He will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
