A tip from a reliable source Wednesday night to Roscoe-Elco-Stockdale-Allenport regional police ended with the arrests of three people on drug charges and the recovery of a brick of heroin.

Arrested were Sharon Wilson, 39, of 1248 Maple Ave., Stockdale; Ashley Kronemer, 21, of 1420 Harrison St., Monessen; and Alvin Kenneth Scott, 57, of 5 Spruce Way, Stockdale.

Officer Paul Rock Jr. said police received information that heroin was going to be delivered to Scott’s home Wednesday night. Police set up surveillance on the house and said they saw a vehicle driven by Wilson pull up.

“Wilson was acting nervous and said she was there because Scott owed her $20,” Rock said. “The car she was driving also wasn’t registered to her.”

Police said Wilson gave permission to search the car, and Kronemer, who was a passenger, told police there was brick of heroin in the car. Police said the brick, containing 50 stamp bags, was found in Kronemer’s purse, and officers also recovered a single stamp bag of the suspected drug, Suboxone and several hundred dollars in cash.

Scott allegedly told police that a drug deal had been planned at his home.

The vehicle Wilson was driving was impounded.

Rock said police had been receiving information about suspicious activity at Scott’s home for the last four to six weeks.

Wilson and Kronemer are charged with possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Scott is charged with possession of heroin and conspiracy.

All three were arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and each placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Assisting with the arrests was a member of the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and California police.
