McGuffey High School FFA Club’s floral business is blooming.

The club, under the direction of vocational agriculture teacher and FFA adviser Renee Cambruzzi, 

Range Resources & McGuffey School District’s FFA/Floral Design Program

What: McGuffey FFA teacher Renee Cambruzzi and her students have hosted 2 floral arrangement workshops so far for Range Resources employees, one for Thanksgiving and one for Valentine’s Day.

Where: Range Resources Southpointe office

Why: Range has been evaluating how we can expand upon our strong relationships with our local districts by supporting schools in meaningful and mutually beneficial ways. Range serves on McGuffey’s Career Advisory Board, and has supported local 4-H and FFA programs so the company has learned about the school’s floral design program. This partnership enables Range to support the program both monetarily and through a partnership where students can hone their skills. It also provides a benefit to our employees. We can network, team-build, and enjoy ourselves while interacting with the students. In addition, we learned that this group of students is available to do floral arrangements outside of school projects, including weddings, showers and more, providing a unique way to support local! We are looking forward to continuing this partnership and working with all of our local education partners on unique projects!
