A free community dinner will be held at the Aleppo Brethren Church from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday. The menu will include sloppy joe sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw and dessert. Take outs are available. For more information, call 724-428-5249.
Greene County Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held Sept. 7 at Wana B Park in Carmichaels. Registration will be at 9 a.m. and the walk begin at 10 a.m. The event will include a Chinese auction, raffle, refreshments and a door prize. To sign up, visit www.alz.org/walk.
