John Edward Brown
John Edward Brown, 81, of Canonsburg, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
He was born October 12, 1941, in Philippi, W.Va., a son of the late James Ivan and Blonda Swick Brown.
John graduated from Lumberport High School in Lumberport, W.Va.
He retired from 84 Lumber Company after many dedicated years of service. During his working career, John was awarded Salesman of the Year many times.
John was a member of the Greater Beneficial Union of Canonsburg, where he served as an officer.
John is survived by a son, Jay R. Brown; a daughter, Stephanie R. Auld; two grandchildren, Jessica (Matthew) Johnson and Brandon M. Brown; and two great-granddaughters, Raelynn Johnston and Taylor Johnston.
Deceased are three brothers, James D. Brown, Charles Brown and Robert Brown; and a sister, Genevieve Griffith.
