Riske to open against Badosa

Alison Riske’s opening opponent at the Wimbledon tennis championships will be Spain’s Paula Badosa.
The McMurray native will play Badosa, who has been ranked a high as No. 2 in the world by the WTA, in the opening round at the All England Club in London. The tournament begins Monday. Badosa is currently ranked No. 34 by the WTA. Riske is No. 84 in the rankings.
The Riske-Badosa winner has a potential matchup with eighth-seeded Maria Sakkari of Greece in the second round.
