Joyce Ann Walker
Joyce Ann Walker, 74, of Washington, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in The Washington Hospital.
She was born October 7, 1948, in Washington, a daughter of the late Earl Brown and Lillian Jenkins.
Mrs. Walker worked as a custodian at Walmart, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Her children regarded her as the best mother in the world.
She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
On April 14, 1967, she married Walter Stephen Walker, who died August 22, 2012.
Surviving are two sons, William J. Walker and Walter Stephen Walker, Jr. (Mandy); a daughter, Donna Heckman (Randy L.); a sister, Shirley Marques (Bob); and four grandchildren, Brandon S. Heckman, Chad A. Heckman, Ella Rose Walker, and Calvin Walker.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
