Charles N. “Chuck” Royer, 70, of Cokeburg, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, in his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Oil City, a son of the late John and Margaret Cotton Royer.

Charles was a graduate of Reynolds High School.

Mr. Royer was previously self-employed in construction and had also worked at Walmart in Lawn and Garden.

Charles enjoyed playing computer games, and in his younger years, fishing. He loved his family and his cat “Snow”.

Surviving are his children: Michelle Neff (Edwin), Charles C. Royer (Kristina), Jonathan R. Royer (Linda) and Charles N. Royer Jr. (April); seven grandchildren: Ashley Kerik, Courtney Gregg (CJ), Dylan Cummings, Alexandra Royer, Zachary Royer, Morgan Royer and Lexi Royer; his former wife, Lillian Royer; a brother, Glenn Royer (Rhonda); nephews, Robert and Leon Williams, and Donald Royer.

Deceased are a son, David R. Royer; two brothers, Donald and John Royer; and a sister, Margaret Williams.

All services are private and have been entrusted to the Greenlee’s Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville.
