Patricia Nichols, 77, of Fredericktown, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in Bunnell, Fla.
She was born March 11, 1946, in Blacksville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harom L. and Eva Simpson Rogers.
Patricia was employed as a professional cook at Fairview Nursing and Personal Care Home, for 20 years. She was also a Pennsylvania State Constable, for 18 years.
She enjoyed animals, camping, nature, gardening, canning and her dog, George.
On November 10, 2001, she married Bill Nichols, Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Richard Fereza (Amy), Stephen Fereza (Kimberly) and Mary DeAngelo (Paul); a sister, Mary Ann Silva; two stepchildren, Billy Nichols Jr. (Ewa) and Thomas Nichols (Laura); nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are seven siblings: James, Albert, and Joe Rogers, Irene Eddy, Urslene Eddy, Ruby Rush and Judy Tennant.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville.
Interment will be Friday, June 23, 2023, in the Hunt Cemetery, Roane County, W.Va., where a graveside service will be held at 1 p.m.
