Cora M. Roman, 85, of Burgettstown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

She was born on November 1, 1937, in Burgettstown, the daughter of the late Alda Ruth Garren and John Martin.

The beloved wife, of 64 years, to Andrew E. Roman; loving mother of Pamela J. (the late James) Dotter, Paula A. (Craig) Gallaher, John A. (Shelly) Roman and Melinda J. (John) Davison; grandma of Aubrea, Jesika, Chelsea, Niki, Ashly, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Joseph, and Matthew; great-grandmother of Alice, Walker, Isabella, Lincoln, Corey and Leanna; sister of Arlene Garren and Thomas Garren; and sister-in-law of Joan Roman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruth Ann (David) Lane.

Cora was a 1955 graduate of Union High School. She was actively involved in the Christian Assembly in Burgettstown. Cora loved puzzles, sewing, crocheting, baking cakes, making dolls and spending time with her cats. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray PA 15317. A service will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in the funeral home. Immediately following the service, a burial will be held at Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery, 3739 Washington Rd., Canonsburg, PA 15317.
