There will be single lane restrictions on Interstate 70 in two areas along Interstate 70 beginning Monday in order to allow crews to perform patching operations. The work will begin in the Westmoreland County area and upon completion will move to the Washington area.

In Westmoreland County, the restrictions will be between the New Stanton and Madison exits. Work will be done on both the east and westbound lanes.

In Washington County, they will be between the Toll 43 ramps west to the Lover exit. Work will be done in the eastbound lanes only.

These restrictions will occur Monday evenings through Friday mornings from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will continue until Nov. 11. The contractor performing the work is Tresco Paving Corp. with a project cost of $4 million dollars.
