The Washington Wild Things’ game Friday at the Lake Erie Crushers was suspended because of inclement weather with the Crushers holding a 2-1 lead in the third inning.
The game will be made up Aug. 13 as a part of a doubleheader.
Mark Samuelson’s solo homer gave Washington a short-lived lead in the second inning before Lake Erie answered with two runs in the bottom half.
The Wild Things had dropped the previous two games of the series.
Tonight’s game against the Frontier Greys is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Consol Energy Park, as the Wild Things begin an eight-game homestand.
