‘Off the Shelf’ to benefit area libraries
Peacock Keller will sponsor its 6th annual “Off The Shelf…A Celebration of Books” charity event Sept. 18 at Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe. The event supports libraries in Greene, Fayette and Washington counties.
This year’s theme is travel. Keith Bellows, editor of National Geographic Traveler magazine, will speak at 8 p.m. A table decorating contest will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. and dinner is at 7 p.m. There also will be a Chinese auction and a live auction. Sponsorship opportunities are available and auction items are being collected.
