Gloria Dean Comito, 76, of Eighty Four, passed away Friday, July 7, at the Concordia Hospice of Washington, Donnell House.

She was born August 1, 1946 in Coal Center, a daughter of the late Howard L. Dean Sr. and Virginia May Alger Dean.

Gloria loved Bingo, the Pittsburgh Steelers and nature.

Her husband, Larry James Comito, passed away November 17, 2021. They were married June 19, 1965.

Surviving are her children, Larry Comito, Jr. of Eighty Four, Michelle Woodhouse (David) of Eighty Four and Sandra Young of Donora; 10 grandchildren whom she loved, Cody, Erin, Nichole, Matthew, Jocelyn, Dakota, Gunnar, Billy, Marissa and Larry; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Bovetsky (Ron) of Bolivar, Ohio, and Marsha Westbrook (Ray) of Charleroi; several nieces and nephews, and her dog Rocky.

Deceased, in addition to her husband, are her siblings, Howard L. “Bugs” Dean, Jr., George Allen Dean, Carol Lee Brown and Cheryl Elaine Dean.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 14, with Gloria’s brother-in-law, Ron Bovetsky, officiating.

A procession will follow to Scenery Hill Cemetery for a committal service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests your consideration of contributions to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
