Timothy P. Cecchine, age 61, died Sunday, July 30, 2023 in UPMC Shadyside.

He was born March 24, 1962, in Washington, a son of the late John R. and Laureen Cole Cecchine.

Tim was a 1980 graduate of Beth Center High School and went on to be operations manager for 38 years at Fuchs Lubricants, Waynesburg.

He was a member of the South Hills Bible Chapel and was a devoted Christian who strived to study his faith in God as much as he could.

He enjoyed weightlifting, attending car shows and was an avid fan of the Steelers.

On September 26, 1992 in Washington, he married Jamie Presto, who survives.

Also surviving are his son, Vincent J. (Jenae) Cecchine of Washington; three brothers, John A. (Kim) Cecchine of Canonsburg, Larry D. (Julie) Cecchine of Marianna and David L. Cecchine of Washington; a sister, Paulette C. (Paul) Bieneck of Monessen; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a brother, Michael J. Cecchine.

Friends will be received from noon to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2023, with Pastor Brad Rine officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
