Local truck driver enjoyed camping

John William “Bill” Bedillion Jr., 71, of Washington, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, in Washington Hospital, following a short illness.

He was born May 14, 1942, in Washington, a son of the late John William Bedillion Sr. and Betty Lee Conner Bedillion.

Mr. Bedillion was a local truck driver for Sam Cohen and Son for 20 years, McLean Trucking for 15 years and Suwak.

He enjoyed camping at Bells Lake with his sons, NASCAR, the outdoors and gardening.

On August 6, 1960, he married Nancy Ellen Jones, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Michael and Lynn Bedillion, married for 30 years, of Washington, Timothy and Judi Bedillion, married for 22 years, of Oakdale, and Tommy and Charlene Bedillion, married for 22 years, of Washington; three daughters, Tammy and Nick Morabito, married for 27 years, of Ona, W.Va., Tina and Hank Ehnert, married for 16 years, of Washington, and Pamela and Jim Masteller, married for 18 years, of West Alexander; a brother, Kenneth Bedillion of Washington; a sister, Shirley Wise of Washington; 14 grandchildren, Amanda Sickles, Mitchell Bedillion, Giuseppe, Christina, Alyssa and Brianna Morabito, Jordan Lawrence, Shauna Bedillion, Trenton, Bevin and Ty Bedillion and Nathan, Sarah and Emily Masteller.

At the request of the deceased, all services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
