Beloved wife, loving mother
Frances Babish, 90, formerly of Cuddy, passed away in her God’s grace on Wednesday, September 18, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Babish; loving mother of Beverly (William) Van Loon, Robert (Judy) Babish and Melissa (Max) Ramenofsky; caring grandmother of Katherine, Alexis, Christine, Jamie, Robert and Jillian; great-grandmother of Adam and Charlie; and sister-in-law of Betty Siskawicz.
Mrs. Babish was the last surviving sibling of six sisters and four brothers.
Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews, who knew her fondly as “Aunt Nancy.”
She was a 1941 graduate of Scott Township High School.
Mrs. Babish was employed by Vimco Macaroni Co. and Mayview State Hospital.
She was a member of Holy Child Parish.
Mrs. Babish’s true vocation was her devotion to her husband and children.
Friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m Friday in Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral Home, 430 Washington Avenue, Bridgeville, 412-221-3800. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21, in Holy Child Church, Bridgeville. Entombment will be held in St. Agatha Cemetery, Bridgeville.
