Trinity graduate loved working on vehicles

Christopher D. Cunningham, 26, of Washington, died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in his home.

He was born May 21, 1987, in Washington, a son of David A. and Paula G. Dice Cunningham.

Mr. Cunningham was a 2006 graduate of Trinity High School, and went on to obtain his associate’s degree in automotive technology at Rosedale Technical Institute.

He worked as an automotive technician for Vasko Dodge in McMurray.

Mr. Cunningham loved working on vehicles and enjoyed car shows and online video gaming.

On June 16, 2006, in Washington, he married Erica L. Anthony, who survives.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, are a son, Maxwell J. Cunningham; a sister, Carolyn (Steven) Tippmann-Markovich of Bethel Park; paternal grandmother, Christine Cunningham; a nephew, David J. Tippmann; two nieces, Ava G. Tippmann and Abby Thompson; mother-in-law Johnna (Jim Thompson) Anthony; father-in-law Scott Anthony; a sister-in-law, Amanda (Curt) Thompson; a brother-in-law, Scott Anthony Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Deceased is his paternal grandfather, Norville Cunningham Jr.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 18, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park, Canonsburg. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Condolences may be expressed and photos uploaded to www.familyremembers.com.
