Crews rescue boy who fell into western Pa. ravine

CONWAY – Emergency dispatchers say crews have rescued a boy who fell into a wooded ravine in Western Pennsylvania.

The incident was reported about 5 p.m. Monday in Conway, Beaver County, about 20 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

Crews had reached the boy and an hour later were bringing him up from the ravine in a metal basket.

Dispatchers say it crews at the scene don’t believe the boy was badly injured.

Dispatchers didn’t have the boy’s name or age, and couldn’t provide details about how he fell.
