WAYNESBURG – A Carmichaels man charged with driving under the influence of alcohol was entered into the accelerated rehabilitative disposition program Friday by Greene County Judge William Nalitz.

Dillon David Baker, 22, of 302 Cedarwood Drive, was arrested May 25 after police saw him driving to the Sheetz Store in Cumberland Township and noticed his vehicle did not have a registration sticker on the plate. Baker had a blood-alcohol level of 0.165 percent.

Under the ARD program, participants must serve at least one year probation and pay all fines and costs. Those charged with driving under the influence of alcohol also may have their driving privileges suspended and be required to refrain from the use or possession of alcohol. Those who successfully complete the program can petition the court to have their criminal records expunged.
