I too dislike being called “honey” or “sweetie,” especially by people younger than me. I got a lot of it at work, but I retired a few years ago and thought I was rid of this.

Unfortunately, I still get called “sweetie,” “honey” or “darling” by other people. I am old enough to be their mother. I have a name and prefer that they use it.
