Charlene K. Silvis Rubright, 65, of Canonsburg, formerly of Delmont, died unexpectedly Monday, December 30, 2013, in her home.
She was born December 12, 1948, in New Kensington, a daughter of Albert and Mary Thompson Silvis.
Mrs. Rubright was a 1967 graduate of Franklin Area Regional High School and worked at Lamplighter Restaurant in Delmont. She was very active in activities at the Canon House.
Surviving are a sister, Sharon Edgar of Canonsburg; a brother, Ronald Silvis of The Villages, Fla.; and three nephews.
Her husband, Dennis Rubright, is deceased.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10 a.m., the time of services, Friday, January 3, in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director. Burial in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum, will be private.
