1950-2013

Phillip D. Robinson, 63, of Walnut Hill, Dilliner, died unexpectedly Monday, December 2, 2013, in his home.

He was born September 24, 1950, in Morgantown, W.Va., a son of Kay and Myrle Allum Robinson of Dilliner.

Mr. Robinson had formerly worked in maintenance at West Virginia University Hospitals and later at Lakeview Country Club, both in Morgantown.

He was a longtime member of FOE 1932 in Point Marion.

Mr. Robinson and attended Christian Life Center in Old Frame.

Surviving, in addition to his loving parents, a son, Phillip David Robinson Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn.; two brothers, Richard Robinson and wife Judy and Eric Robinson, all of Dilliner; and his best friend, Louie Strosnider of Dilliner.

Deceased is a son, John Robinson.

He also leaves behind his faithful companion, Mollie.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and until 11 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, December 7, in Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, with the Rev. Stoney Cottrell officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf’s Cemetery, Dilliner. www.herod-rishel.com
