Teaming up with Toys for Tots
Stephanie Mitchell, Miss Rain Day 2013, teamed up with Tri-County Leathernecks, Community Bank and other local businesses to collect new, unwrapped toys for distribution to children in need in our area.
“Community Bank is again proud to be a part of the U.S. Marine Corp Toys for Tots program,” said Andrew Corfont, vice president and marketing administrator for Community Bank. “Ralph Sommers Jr., chairman of the board for Community Bank, has worked with this program for many years and we are happy to team up with Miss Rain in this great community service project.”
Mitchell said, “As Miss Rain Day, I wanted to support a cause that would make a difference this Christmas season. My Toys for Tots toy drive is my way of helping make a difference this Christmas for the less fortunate children in our area.”
New, unwrapped toys for both boys and girls will be collected through Dec. 20 and can be dropped off at Community Bank offices at 100 N. Market St., Carmichaels; Greene Plaza, 100 Miller Lane, Waynesburg; or 30 W. Greene St., Waynesburg.
Other drop off locations include Shear Expressions Salon, Carmichaels; American Legion Post 816 Rices Landing; Serb’s Red Star Inn, Carmichaels; and Tricia Ricco Dance Studio, Carmichaels.
