Jack C. Rogers, 80, of Cleveland, Ohio, died Saturday, December 7, 2013, in his home.

He was born October 19, 1933, in Washington, a son of the late William and Harriet Cole Rogers.

On November 19, 1958, he married Martha Cumberledge, who survives.

Mr. Rogers worked as a mechanic for the city of Euclid, Ohio, for 27 years. He also worked as a school guard for Longfellow School in Cleveland for 10 years.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving four years in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Rogers resided in Ohio since 1966.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Vernon Rogers (Ann Keener) of Bradenton, Fla.; three daughters, Tammie Monselle of Cleveland, Lisa Jaggie (John May) of Blacksville, W.Va., and Jill Walls (Bob Jasinski) of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Robert, Frankie, Billy Jack, Philip, Jessica and Dylan; three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Peyton and Billy; two sisters, Sara Cumberledge of Spraggs and Shirley Rogers of New Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a daughter, Veronica Rogers; four brothers; and two sisters.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, with Pastor Raymond Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Centennial Cemetery, Aleppo Township. Graveside military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 330 of Waynesburg and the U.S. Army.
