Lions Club offers program for veterans

WAYNESBURG – The Waynesburg Lions Club is offering local veterans a special opportunity to serve their community.
The Involve a U.S. Veteran program is a nationwide initiative sponsored by Lions Clubs International that offers qualified veterans an entrance fee waiver when joining a local Lions club.
Eligible veterans include retired U.S. military personnel or honorably discharged members of the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard, Navy or Reserves. Those currently serving in the National Guard or Reserves are also eligible.

The Waynesburg Lions Club meets the first and third Thursday at the Lions Park Community Building on Roy Furman Highway beyond the Alpha Aquatic Pool.
