Victor Frank Lipari, 49, of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 3, 2013, in his home.
He was born May 26, 1964, in Washington, a son of Joyce Pearce Lipari (Terry Frantz) of Canonsburg and the late Victor Lipari.
Mr. Lipari was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and the Pittsburgh Institute of Culinary Arts.
He was last employed at Washington County Health Center, where he left due to declining health.
Mr. Lipari was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He was known to his family and friends as a giving, kind and caring person. He once picked up a hitchhiker in the cold weather and gave him the coat off his back.
He loved cooking for his daughter and his family and friends. His passion was his music. He loved singing and playing his guitar. He made several CDs and was in several bands throughout his life.
Mr. Lipari was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2026, Polish National Union and French Club.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, a daughter, Dayja Lipari of Canonsburg; a brother, P.J. (Phillip) Lipari of Canonsburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased, in addition to his father, are paternal grandparents Samuel and Angaline Lipari and maternal grandparents Earnest and Eva Pearce.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L.
