Two people were flown by emergency helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital following a single-vehicle accident in Carroll Township Friday night.

According to the Washington County emergency call center, a vehicle struck a tree along state Route 481. Valley Inn Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident.
