Former CNA enjoyed camping

Cynthia Lou McWhorter, 50, of Washington, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 28, 2013, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born October 13, 1963, in Washington, a daughter of the late Cecil H. and Bonnie L. Hartley Jackson.

Mrs. McWhorter was a 1981 graduate of Trinity High School.

She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Washington Hospital for 14 years.

Mrs. McWhorter enjoyed camping, drawing and her dogs and cat.

On April 5, 1986, she married Russell “Rusty” McWhorter, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Tad James McWhorter; a daughter, Kiley Elizabeth McWhorter; two brothers, Richard Jackson and Scott A. Jackson, all of Washington; two sisters, Corlea Jackson Ware of Washington and Sandra K. Sayre of Bentleyville; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, December 31, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
