Air Force Airman Brandon D. Brown, son of Douglas Brown of Waynesburg, graduated with honors from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Brown is a 2004 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2008 from West Virginia University.
