CANONSBURG – A sports-themed bar and grill is the latest restaurant to announce plans to open in the new Town Center project in Southpointe II.
Southpointe-based Horizon Properties Group, the lead developer of Southpointe II, and Miller Capital of Chicago announced Monday a lease with All Star Sports Bar & Grill to open a 4,500-square-foot restaurant early next year.
The Town Center site will be the second area restaurant for All Star, which has a unit in Robinson Township.
According to a news release from the developer, All Star Sports Bar & Grill offers a “friendly ambiance” where “Pittsburghers [can] taste the many selections from the extensive menu, sample one of many premium beers and watch [their] favorite sports teams on one of dozens of large flat-screen televisions.”
Horizon Properties Group is the master developer of Southpointe II, the 217-acre extension of Southpointe. The nucleus of the project is Southpointe Town Center, the 34-acre mixed-use retail, restaurant and office development that will serve as the hub of Southpointe.
Horizon President and Chief Executive Officer Rod Piatt noted that All Star Sports Bar & Grill is an important component to the mix of five restaurants that will anchor the Main Street shops at the Town Center.
