NRA member enjoyed working with dogs

Bart A. Fleischmann, 58, of Canonsburg, died Monday, December 30, 2013, in his home.

He was born August 18, 1955, in Bayshore, Long Island, N.Y., a son of Emil Gene and Joan Augusta Graff Fleischmann.

Mr. Fleischmann was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Bridgeville.

He was a member of National Rifle Association, enjoyed working with dogs and was very handy at woodworking.

Mr. Fleischmann worked in millwork and sales for Lowes, Washington.

Surviving are his parents, Gene and Joan Fleischmann of Canonsburg; wife Victoria Fleischmann and three children, Brent, Bryant and Brooke Fleischmann, all of Midlothian, Va.; four brothers, Bruce (Cindy) Fleischmann of Daytona Beach, Fla., Barry (Susan) Fleischmann of Mt. Lebanon, Brian (Linda) Fleischmann of Delmont and Bret (Marjorie) Fleischmann of Bethel Park; and several nieces and nephews.

At his family’s request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, in Zion Lutheran Church, 3197 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, with Pastor Duncan McClellen officiating.
