CARMICHAELS – Have you ever wanted to use a computer but don’t know where to begin? Or maybe you want to learn a new program for work?
Call Flenniken Public Library and register for a free computer class. Space is limited, and registration is required by calling 724-966-5263 or stopping by the library.
Each class meets from 2 to 3 p.m.
The computer classes offered in January and February are:
• Using a Mouse, Jan. 16. Learn how to manipulate a mouse and some of the keyboard keys. This class should be taken before any other classes, unless a participant has prior computer experience.
• Microsoft Vista, Jan. 23. Learn how to use the basics of Microsoft Vista.
• Beginning Internet, Jan. 30. Learn how to get online and find the information you need.
• Microsoft Word 2007, Feb. 6. Learn how to use Word to write letters and reports.
Library hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
