Joyce Elaine Bitz Emerick, 71, of Marianna, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, in Washington Hospital.
She was born July 14, 1942, in Washington, a daughter of Frank and Mary Semple Bitz.
Mrs. Emerick was baptized in St. Patrick Parish.
She enjoyed garage sales, flea markets and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are four children, Rhonda Jaquay (Tim Bradburn) of West Mifflin, Keith Emerick (Barbara) of Washington, Kevin Emerick (Lori) of Lone Pine and Frank Emerick Jr. (Sandee) of Westland; 15 grandchildren, Robert, Charissa, Christopher, Shawn, Preston, Sheldon, Briandasha, Storm and Skylar Jaquay, Kevin Emerick Jr., Anastasia Emerick, Jessica Stallard and Jalacie, Eli and Caleb Emerick; 20 great-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Robert William Bitz of Eighty Four; and her ex-husband, Robert L. Emerick.
A grandson, Christopher Stallard, is deceased.
