WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian A. Tennant released the following activity report for February.

• The office processed 77 civil actions and served 38 documents related to civil actions; it processed eight real estate sales and served papers related to three real estate sales.

• The office processed 19 personal property actions and served documents related to seven personal property actions.

• It processed 16 protection from abuse actions and served papers related to 11 protection from abuse actions.

• The office processed 111 licenses to carry concealed weapons and one license to sell precious metals. It also processed 18 warrants.

• The office transported two inmates for out-of-state extraditions and 35 inmates for the Greene County Court. It also assisted eight outside agencies.

• The office engaged in four special details, one K9 tracking assist, three Children and Youth custody assists, on bank robbery assist, two lockouts and two ejectments. Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 4,852.
