Independence Township will hold a spring cleanup from May 2 to 9 for household items and trash.

Residents are responsible for bringing the items to Dumspters at the following sites: township maintenance building at Independence; Breezy Heights; community center/library; fire hall, and Polar Star field.

No building materials, tires, refrigerators, garbage, paint, petroleum products, computers, electronic devices or appliances containing Freon will be accepted.
